Senior and Sixth Form Fees
The 2026-27 fees are:
- £19,272.08 per term (boarders)
- £11,403.37 per term (day girls)
Registration fee for formal application to be assessed is £350 (non-refundable).

For each entry point all bar £500 of the deposit will be credited to the first-term’s fees. The £500 remains on account until payment of the final term’s fees and specified charges.
In addition to the deposit, candidates requiring sponsorship for a Child Student Visa will be required to make payment of the remainder of the first year’s fees by 30 April before entry in order to confirm to UK Visas & Immigration that this payment has been received as part of the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
Military discount
We offer a number of 20% boarding bursaries to new regular HM Armed Forces and diplomatic service families drawing CEA and joining the school to reduce the financial burden of boarding fees. This is not means tested but is subject to the usual admissions criteria being met.
Sibling discount
We offer sibling discount to families with three daughters at St Swithun’s. Parents receive a 10% discount for the eldest daughter if she is a day girl, or are only required to pay the day fee if she is a boarder in the senior school. Scholarships and Bursaries
Through our scholarships we formally recognise achievement and attitude in a number of areas of school life. Those areas include academic, arts, drama, mathematics, music and sports. Find out more on our scholarships page here.
Our transformational bursary programme provides free boarding places to girls from very disadvantaged circumstances, or on the edge of needing to access UK social care. These places provide them with stability, security and opportunity, along with our tailored pastoral support and appropriate mentors to encourage them.
